Romanian real estate projects attract foreign investors
->
Spanish, Greeks, English and Italians are the top foreign investors of Romanian residential properties. For foreigners, the prices of the real estate properties currently under development in Romania are more than reasonable. Over the last year, entire blocks of flats newly built in Bucharest, Brasov or Constanta had been bought by foreign investors, in many cases long before the projects launched officially on the property market.
For example, “Liziera” and “Green Lake” residences from Bucharest, “Maria” from Costinesti or “Colina Florilor” from Sinaia are only few projects which attracted the Spanish and Greek investors.
Liziera residence, situated north of the Bucharest, close to the famous Baneasa residence. The development includes four blocks of flats with a total of 176 1/2/3-bedroom apartments, as well as an underground carpark, several stores, a fitness club and a playground area. The pricetags ranges between €1,400 and €1,700/sqm.
The Green Lake residence project, an approximately €100million complex of 540 apartments and villas in Straulesti, near Grivita Lake, north of Bucharest is under development by a Greek investor, Technical Olympic Group of Companies. The complex is due to finish around 2008.
The Colina Florilor project is situated in Sinaia, one of the most known mountains resort, with prices starting from € 63,445 going up to €107,025, depending on the floor level, number of rooms and surface area.project is situated in Sinaia, one of the most known mountains resort, with prices starting from € 63,445 going up to €107,025, depending on the floor level, number of rooms and surface area.

[…] On a generic note, be careful when you look for details as it appears that Romanian developers seem to run out of names for their projects. With regards to Belvedere Straulesti you definitely need to look twice, as Straulesti has a large number of ongoing projects (such as the Green Lake, mentioned in an earlier post), and there is also another Belvedere project in Bucharest (that will be discussed in the near future).
