Development in Jilava, nearby Bucharest
->
Another development project is about to start nearby Bucharest, in the village of Jilava. Although most famous for its prison, Jilava cannot be ignored due to its proximity to the capital, so property in the area is rather expensive. The project, ran by the developer K1, includes a complex of 299 apartments, distributed over 11 four-storey blocks. According to the promoter of the complex, the estate company Areea, the project is due to be ready in December 2008. Due to the project being in its early stages, the details are sketchy, including the total figure for the development, currently unknown; the promoter however indicated that the estimated price for the apartments will be around the figure of €600/sqm, making it a very attractive opportunity for middle-class investors.
