Evolution of land price in Bucharest and the surrounding area
Based on the positive predictions made earlier this year, there seems to be an increasing interest for buying land in the Bucharest area. One highly relevant information when trying to decide which area is the best one is the evolution of the average asking price for land in certain areas.
We recently identified sources of market data that can be used to determine the evolution of land prices for the Bucharest area and are currently processing this information to extract statistical data. Due to the fact that most of the analysis requires human input, as the raw data is not in standard format, we are waiting your suggestions and request for particular areas of interest. Hello J G. As I mentioned in the post, the data collected so far only covers the Bucharest and surrounding area. Satu Mare is nearly 600km away from Bucharest…

Hello Riccardo. I looked at the land prices for the “13 Septembrie” area for May 2005-2007. The prices increased steadily, starting with an average of €542/sqm in May 2005 (6 offers), then €808/sqm in May 2006 (7 offers), up to a current average of €1145/sqm (4 offers).
There were no offers in the Dr. Felix area but I will come back with an update if I find any.
