Brief overview of flats prices in Bucharest
->
Predicting trends and looking back at statistics is always good when checking whether an investment is worth making, especially in real estate. However, once in a while, it is worth coming back to present days and see what’s actually available on the market. We’ll come back in future posts with longer lists but, keeping the story short: you have less than 100,000 Euro and you would like to invest in Romania, preferably in a flat. What can you buy for your money in Bucharest? Here is a brief list of newly built properties you can get:
- 63sqm two-bedroom apartment, with 7sqm terrace in the Rose Garden blocks, in Colentina, available for a price of €79,730-89,250
- You can have a 66sqm two-bedroom apartment, with a 7sqm terrace in the Residenz district, Chitila, at a price of €100,000. This property is still under development due to finish between the end of this year and spring 2008
- 88-105sqm one-bedroom flats are available starting at €100,000 in Rubin Residence
- The famous Vitan Platinum Towers still have available for sale 45sqm studio flats for €49,000 and 54-129sqm one-bedroom flats for €58,000-124,000 (yes, the lower figures do sound temptier…)
- For ground floor flat with a surface area of 74.59sqm in the Monte Carlo Palace by the Herastrau Lake you will have to pay €84,500
- One-bedroom flats with surface area varying between 60sqm and 75.5sqm will range between €66,000 - €105,000 in EuroClub Residential Complex by the Vacaresti lake
Should you be ready to part with a larger sum, the number of offers will increase significantly. As we mentioned in previous posts, the current Romanian property development market is rather crowded with high cost properties addressed to the (Romanian) upper class, but foreign investors might find the prices on the reasonable side.
