Confort Park shows up on the market with comfortable prices and slight reluctance
Domusstil is a significant name on the Romanian real estate market, with several ongoing and finished projects already available around Bucharest. One of their latest projects is Confort Park (yes, the spelling of the first word is correct…in Romanian). The project covers a large area – more than16,000sqm - and will include a mixture of studio flats, 1-, and 2-bedroom apartments put together in several blocks of flats. The prices are not over the top – the studio flats are relatively spacious (around 40sqm) and are priced just under €50000. Those of you ready to part with more of their cash can even get a nearly 110sqm 2-bedroom flat for €112.5k.
You can find quite a few details on the pricing from the project website. The website however talks very little about the details of the project and, just as important, the surrounding area. The above studios and flats prices might seem reasonable, but you should bear in mind that you won’t be a stone throw away from the centre of Bucharest. Confort Park is located in an area that has loads of potential, but at the moment could do with a bit of imagination, which is why quite a few forum discussions display slight reluctance (apologies, all the comments are in Romanian language). Positioned nearby one of the large electricity distribution centres in Bucharest, a half-derelict greenhouse agricultural area, and a second hand car parts sales market, Confort Park is likely to be the beginning of the area redevelopment, but you will have to wait another few years for the process to finalise.
