Villas in Brasov quickly disappearing off the market
As you can appreciate, there are plenty of real estate projects currently ongoing throughout Romania. While we try to bring them to your attention as potential investment opportunities as soon as we find out about them, for some of these developments even early stages is too late.
This article is about one such “yesterday’s news” – a small-medium project located on the outskirts of Brasov, including 24 detached and semi-detached villas. Was there anything unusual about this group of villas that made them sell so quickly? Not really. To summarise, the Mountain View Garden project is a no-thrills development, with standard 500sqm plots and built area for each villa between 200-260sqm. The price however was clearly very attractive, likely to be reflecting once again the pressure of land prices onto the real estate market. According to the promoters’ RomanianDeals, the villas were available for around £80k, which was a good argument to sell them like hot cakes.
Was it a good deal? Very likely. Although the villas are not in Brasov (the owners will have a 10 minute drive to the city), they are probably going to be appealing to near future commuters and, should you want (or, to better put it, would have wanted) to buy it as a holiday rental investment, the very posh Poiana Brasov is only 20 minutes away.
